2 BƯỚC 1: (45s chuẩn bị) Xác định dạng câu hỏi. Nghĩ ra 2 lý do & 1 ví dụ dưới dạng keywords. BƯỚC 2: (60s nói) Sau khi nghe tiếng “beep” thì mới bắt đầu trả lời. Sử dụng mẫu trả lời từng dạng câu hỏi. Nói với tốc độ vừa phải, to, rõ ràng. Bố cục cho các bạn nói nhanh: • Câu 1: trả lời trực tiếp • Câu 2-3: Lý do 1 & Thông tin bổ sung lý do 1 (thực trạng, kết quả, nguyên nhân) • Câu 4-5: Lý do 2 & Thông tin bổ sung lý do 2 (thực trạng, kết quả, nguyên nhân)  Let me tell you my story. (using the Internet/ watching news on television/ reading a newspaper)  I think the best way to get news is by using the Internet.  First of all, news on the Internet is updated quickly. Therefore, people can learn about the latest news as soon as it happens.  Second, it’s convenient. People can read news anytime and anywhere, as long as they have an internet connection.  For example, last Friday, when I was hiking in the mountains with my friends, I suddenly remembered that my favorite football team had a match on that day, so I opened my phone and read about it on the Internet. The Internet helps me stay informed even when I’m away from home or don’t have any newspapers. Do you think parents should help their children choose their college majors?  I think parents should help their children choose their college majors.  First of all, parents have a lot of life experience. Therefore, they know which majors can help their children succeed in life.  Second, parents understand their children well, so they can help their children choose majors which are suitable for their children’s talents and passions.  Let me tell you my story. When I applied to university, I didn’t know which major I should take. My parents knew that I was good at English and loved learning it, so they advised me to major in English at university. I followed their advice and thanks to that, now I have become a very successful interpreter. When buying an electronic device, who would you prefer to get information from, customer reviews or sales clerks?  When buying an electronic device, I would prefer to get information from customer reviews.  First, reviews are more reliable. This is because they are written by actual users.  Second, reading them helps me save time. To be specific, I can read customer reviews from the comfort of my own home. However, I have to go to stores to get information from sales clerks.  Let me tell you my story. Last year, I wanted to buy a laptop. However, at that time, I was very busy so I didn’t have time to go to stores to check different kinds of laptops. My friend Jenny advised me to read customer reviews on the Internet. I noticed that
4 many customers suggested laptops from the brand ABC so I decided to buy one from this brand. It turned out to be the best laptop I’ve ever had. During the internship, students can form connections with colleagues and customers. These connections can lead to potential job opportunities in the future.
