Exercise b: User research 1 Survey In order to gain insights into user expectations and usage metrics for a website, I conducted a survey with 16 participants. The data collected from this survey will serve to validate and triangulate data from user research and usability studies conducted by my team. To measure user experience, I asked participants to rate the 5 key frameworks of user-centered design, namely Effectiveness, Efficiency, Engagement, Ease of Use, and Error Tolerance. The website scored 4.6 out of 7 for effectively communicating the organization's vision, mission, and cause, but only scored 4.5 out of 7 for visual engagement. While the website was successful in conveying YouthCare's vision, it was less effective in drawing users to engage with the interface. Lack of clarity when it comes to partnership opportunities: All users were able to identify that the primary audience for the website was donors and volunteers. However, a few users expressed confusion regarding whether the interface was also intended for homeless youth and partnerships.
