With reference to the views of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Ilama Muhammad Iqbal? 1. INTRODUCTION: The ideology of Pakistan is a fundamental belief that guided the creation of the country. It emphasizes the importance of a separate nation for Muslims in the Indian subcontinent. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal played key roles in shaping this ideology. Jinnah envisioned a democratic state where Muslims could practice their faith freely, while Iqbal highlighted the need for Muslim unity and self-determination. Together, their ideas laid the foundation for Pakistan's formation in 1947.
2. MEANINGS OF IDEOLOGY: An "ideology" is a set of ideas, beliefs, or values that people use to understand the world and make decisions. It's like a collection of thoughts that guide how someone thinks about society, politics, or other important topics. 3. DEFINITION OF IDEOLOGY: ❖According to prof Thomas E. Patterson: “An ideology is a consistent pattern of opinion on political issues that stems from a basic underlying belief or set of beliefs.” 4. COMPONENTS OF IDEOLOGY OF PAKISTAN: The ideology of Pakistan is the set of beliefs and principles that shape the identity and direction of the country. Here are some key components of ideology of Pakistan. • Islamic Identity: Pakistan was created as a homeland for Muslims, where they could practice their religion freely and live according to Islamic values. • Unity among Muslims: The idea of Muslims in South Asia coming together as a united community, despite their diverse backgrounds, to work towards common goals. • Separate Nation: The belief that Muslims and Hindus are distinct nations with different cultures, languages, and ways of life, justifying the creation of a separate country for Muslims. • Social Justice: The ideology emphasizes fairness and equality, aiming to create a society where everyone is treated justly regardless of their background.
• Democratic Principles: Despite being an Islamic state, the ideology promotes democratic governance and participation of the people in decision-making. 5. IDEOLOGY OF PAKISTAN IN THE LIGHT OF VIEWS OF QUAID-E-AZAM MUHAMMAD ALI JINNAH: The Quaid-e- Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was the president of The Muslim league, the sole Muslim political organization which demanded a separate Muslim state in its annual session at Lahore on March 23th, 1940. The Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah has been called the sole “Spokes Man” of the Pakistan movement. He achieved Pakistan on August 14, 1947. Before and after the making of Pakistan, the Quaid-e-Azam made clear the idea of Pakistan in various aspects to the Muslims of India and every other who was interested in it. • Two-Nation Theory: Quaid-e-Azam believed in the concept of the "Two- Nation Theory," which stated that Muslims and Hindus were two distinct nations with different religious, cultural, and social identities. He emphasized that Muslims needed a separate homeland to safeguard their rights and practices. • Religious Freedom: Jinnah's ideology focused on ensuring religious freedom for all citizens of Pakistan, regardless of their faith. He envisioned Pakistan as a place where people of different religions could live peacefully and practice their beliefs without fear or discrimination. • Sovereign State: He aimed to establish Pakistan as a sovereign and independent state, free from any external dominance or interference. Jinnah sought to create a nation with its own identity and governance structure. • Unity in Diversity: Quaid-e-Azam emphasized unity among the diverse ethnic and linguistic groups within Pakistan. He wanted to create a sense of national unity that transcended regional and cultural differences. • Democratic Principles: Jinnah advocated for a democratic system of governance in Pakistan, where the people would have the right to choose their leaders through free and fair elections. He believed in the importance of representative institutions to ensure the welfare of the people.

To conclude I can say that, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's ideology for Pakistan was rooted in the principles of Two-Nation Theory, religious freedom, sovereignty, unity, democracy, social justice, rule of law, progress, and peaceful coexistence. He envisioned a nation where citizens of diverse backgrounds could live harmoniously, enjoying their rights and contributing to the development of a prosperous and independent Pakistan. 6. IDEOLOGY OF PAKISTAN IN THE LIGHT OF VIEWS OF ALLAMA IQAL: Allama Iqbal, a renowned philosopher and poet of the 20th century, played a pivotal role in shaping the ideology of Pakistan. His visionary thoughts and ideas laid the foundation for the creation of the nation. Following are the key aspects of Pakistan's ideology as influenced by Allama Iqbal's views. • Concept of Muslim Unity: Iqbal emphasized the importance of unity among Muslims.
