PROCEDURES A. Guessing the content of the text - Ask students to look at the pictures, read the title of the text, and guess what it is about. - Elicit the students’ answers. 2. Pre-teaching vocabulary - Teach students new words - Ask students to read the text and underline the words above. - Get students to try guessing their meanings in the context first. - Explain the meanings of the words. - Ask students to listen and repeat chorally and individually. - Check if students remember the words. - Look at the pictures, read the title of the text, and guess what the text is about. - Present their ideas in front of the class when invited.
