Knowledge By the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate a general understanding of the following topics: - Key concepts in applied linguistics research - What is applied linguistics research? - The process of conducting research in applied linguistics - Types of applied linguistics research - Approaches, methods, and techniques used in applied linguistics research - Research design - Methods of data collection and analysis in research 9.2. Skills Throughout the course, students will establish the following skills: - Analyze and select a research design appropriate to the chosen topic or research problem - Select and propose suitable methods and techniques aligned with the research design - Propose a research design and effectively implement the selected methods and techniques for data collection and analysis within an applied linguistics research proposal 9.3 Attitude Through of the course, students will demonstrate the following attitudes: - Independence, critical thinking, and openness - A collaborative spirit, interest in issues related to applied linguistics, and a strong sense of academic integrity in research
