2 ADV 2201 COLORS COLOR Color is our mind’s perception of the different frequencies of light being reflected or emitted by an object. Color is only visible with light. As light hits an object, some colors are absorbed while some are reflected, this causes the perception of color only with the reflected colors.
3 ADV 2201 HUE Hue is the most basic form color. It is the purest form of color without being influenced with either brightness or darkness, pale or richness. COLORS > HUE
4 ADV 2201 COLORS > SATURATION SATURATION Saturation simply refers to the richness of the hue. It’s effect manifest on how vibrant the color can be, or how dull it is in low saturation.
5 ADV 2201 COLORS > SATURATION Low Saturation High Saturation High saturation makes the color vibrant or shows the hue while low saturation makes the color dull or becomes the absence of hue.
