It is also important to note that the Great Barrier Reef - remained the most popular / visited destination throughout the period. - consistently drew the most visitors What is most striking when looking at the data is that except for the Central Eastern Rainforest Reserve and Macquarie Island, almost all examined sites experienced their tourist counts increasing, with the most substantial growth being observed in the Great Barrier Reef. It is also important to note that this site consistently drew the most visitors throughout.
