It forms the foundation for configuring key business processes. It’s mainly divided into three core areas: 1. Finance & Controlling (FICO): Manages financial data and reporting. 2. Sales and Distribution (SD): Handles sales, customer orders, and delivery. 3. Logistics: Oversees material management and supply chain operations. This structure ensures that the company's organizational units, like departments or divisions, are properly set up to run efficiently in the SAP system. 1. Finance & Controlling (FICO): COMPANY CODE: Definition: is an entity that has to report its financials to the government on a timely basis. A separate company code is required for each legal entity within the client. This is because statutory accounts for profit & loss and balance sheet have to be created for each legal entity.
