He also liked the altitude, zeal and enthusiasm with which Miss Beam was educating her students. At the end, we can say that she had successfully inculcated empathy, companionship among her school students.
OR Kalpana Chawla was an ordinary girl born and brought up in middle class family she quietly resisted the obstruction and finally succeeded in becoming an astronaut. Her achievements were so extraordinary. She made her mark permanent in the minds of people of the world. Conservative minds of parents are opening up and are allowing their daughter to follow their dreams. Parents and society are now appreciating the achievements of girls in every sphere of life. So I agree to the statement that the life and achievement of Kalpana Chawla will never fade away from the lives of the people. Ans 11. (1×4=4marks) The shepherd was an embodiment of wisdom and kindness. He earned the honor bestowed upon him by the king. The king decided to meet him when he heard about the courage and common sense. The king went in a disguise to him, who greeted him. The shepherd bade him farewell by calling him ‘Your Majesty’. This surprised the king. He made him the governor of a small state. When false accusation was laid on him he gave a reply with poise and dignity. The values that can be learnt from him are honesty, wisdom and compassion. OR The farmer’s wife returned home with a basketful of groceries. She noticed that the face and paws of the mongoose were covered with blood. She thought that the mongoose has killed her baby. She hit the mongoose with her basket full of groceries. The mongoose died on the spot. She later saw her baby was asleep. She saw a black snake lying dead on the floor. The farmer’s wife realized her mistake thatshe killed the mongoose out of rage. She ran out looking for the mongoose. She touched the dead animal and cried to show her sorrow.
