A HERO IS A UNIVERSALITY IN CULTURE Universality in culture – something that is present in all cultures, in all periods of history. Example: Music All cultures have music (all countries in all continents, in all historical periods produce their own music) Another example: Language All cultures have at least one language.
A HERO IS A UNIVERSALITY IN CULTURE All cultures have heroes, they can be real or imagined (folklore). Ancient Babylonians have Gilgamesh, the Hebrews have Moses and the prophets, the Muslims have Mohammed, the old Chinese have Confucius, the ancient Greeks and Romans have their gods and goddesses and other legendary characters, have the Medieval Englishmen have King Arthur, the French have Charlamagne, the Americans have George Washington, the Latinos have Simon Bolivar, etc. Even communist cultures have heroes.
A HERO IS A UNIVERSALITY IN CULTURE Even communist cultures have heroes. Russia has Vladimir Lenin, China has Mao Tse Tung, Cuba has Fidel Castro, Vietnam has Ho Chi Minh, and North Korea has Kim Il Sung and Kin Jong Eun.
