Introduction The world, today, is fast paced and financial processes run on the cutting edge of applied technologies. Large volumes of money are required to be moved instantaneously around the globe and customers look forward to complete their banking transactions from the comfort of their homes. Globally, mobile banking has evolved rapidly from a transactional feature to an experience driven comprehensive customized offering. Today, it plays a vital role in the digital strategies of all the banks worldwide. It has evolved from “pull” based SMS service to high-end personalized offering. The advancements in mobile technology and also increase in mobile phone density in our country, presents an unprecedented opportunity to leverage mobile banking as a platform for inclusive banking. Of late, internet banking has taken a phenomenal leap in terms of product innovation, services offered, convenience and power-packed features being offered by various banks. Phone Banking – IVR services are another avenue for the customers to enhance their reach. WhatsApp Banking services are another mode to reach every nook and corner of the country. VideoKYC, has recently been recognized by the RBI. It provides an important avenue for eradicating the distance between the banker and the customer. Call centre services provide a mechanism through which the grievances/ issues/ queries of the customers can be addressed at a call. All the aspects would be covered in detail in the following sections. Mobile Banking Apps IDBI Go-mobile app IDBI Bank's new “Go Mobile+” App greatly enhances the customer’s banking experience through a user-friendly interface and also provides a wide range of features and services. The Mobile App gives a user, the flexibility to operate and transact on their account wherever and whenever they need. A user can view their account statements or make a remittance on the go at their convenience, when at work or even while commuting. Users can personalize home screen, check the balance in the account, manage and schedule utility bill payments, add a top-up in users’ prepaid mobile phone or DTH account, pay Visa credit card bills or instantly transfer money from one bank account to another through IMPS (Immediate Payment Service), Control on user’s debit card and requesting for cheque book and much more is now possible on users’ phone.
