Choose the word that has the underlined part pronounced differently from the others. Then listen and check. Practise saying them with a partner. - Explain the task and give Ss time to complete it. - Play the recording for Ss to listen and check their answer. - Play the recording with pauses for Ss to listen and repeat chorally and/or individually. - Ask Ss to practise saying the words in pairs. - Monitor the activity around the class.
