Conduct Moderators have a responsibility to enforce the server’s rules, and to maintain a respectful and safe environment. For this to be achieved, moderators must comply with these rules, follow decorum, and remain professional while holding the position. 1. Transparency in Decisions Moderators should always provide clear reasoning for their actions and decisions. This helps build trust within the community and ensures that members understand the rules. 2. Respectful Communication All moderators must communicate respectfully with members, even when enforcing rules. Personal attacks or derogatory language will not be tolerated. 3. Conflict of Interest Moderators should avoid situations where personal relationships may influence their moderation decisions. If a conflict arises, they should recuse themselves from the situation. 4. Encouraging Positive Behavior Instead of just punishing negative behavior, moderators should actively encourage and reward positive contributions from members. 5. Training At times, moderators will be called to training sessions to stay updated on best practices and community standards. This will ensure that everyone is on the same page. 6. Strike System A strike system is hereby implemented. If a moderator is not following the community practices and standards, a strike will be given. Three strikes total will lead to termination. 7. Community Engagement Community Engagement shall refrain from excessive events that overwhelm the government. Community Engagement shall have no bias. 8. Leaking Moderation Actions & Channels Leaking moderation actions and private discussions in moderation channels to outside sources will result in termination.
