Hours, payment, and time tracking Hubstaff Tasks and responses Helpful Documents Welcome to the Genesis Project! What are we doing on the Genesis Project? In this project, you will interact with an artificially intelligent (AI) assistant, Genesis. This AI assistant understands text commands and questions, and can write text responses. Its goal is to follow any given command in a way that is as helpful as possible. You will be training this AI Assistant to answer questions and follow instructions on various skills. By writing requests to Genesis, rating a few of its responses, and writing your ideal response, you will be teaching Genesis how to be a better AI Assistant! This document will provide you with an overview of the project goals and walk you through the steps to get started. The main steps are: 1. Go through an introduction and training course, which covers what this project is and what good work looks like on the project ○ About 15 minutes 2. Pass a required pre-project entrance exam. This will confirm your understanding of the rules and project. ○ About 1-2 hours 3. Learn about and set up your project profile, time tracking, payment, and other logistics before you get started! ○ About 30 minutes 4. Staging ○ Here you will spend up to 14 days at 2 hrs per week practicing on your prompt writing. Once you get 3 approved prompts you will be moved into production. 5. Production ○ You will be moved to any one of the following Genesis projects: i. Audio to Text ii. Text to Audio iii. Image to Text iv. Video to Text v. Other Genesis Projects
Note* When coming from QA you don’t need to go through the introduction and training course and the pre-project entrance exam. If you are using generative AI in your work you will be removed from the project. This project needs the human touch. We do not want AI teaching AI. This can include but is not limited to: ● ChatGPT ● Gemini ● Copilot ● Perplexity ● Huggingface
● Character.ai Grammar checkers such as Grammarly and Quillbot, you may only use the browser extension with the AI features turned off. You may not use the websites. Streaming, Listening to Music and/or Podcasts while working: In an effort to maintain high prompt quality and consistent time spent on each project task, we wanted to lay out some clear guidelines on what is and is not permissible while tasking on Genesis: Music Services (music.youtube.com, Spotify, etc.)
