That’s why, once again, we are holding a writing competition. Last year, we asked children to write about their favourite animal from the British countryside. This year, the subject is different. We want you to write about your favourite place in Britain. It could be a beach, a forest, a park or a mountain. But it must be outdoors. You can’t write about your bedroom! So, if you’re between the ages of eight and fifteen, start writing! Last year, you had to be less than 12 years old, but we decided to change it this year. You must write between 200 and 400 words. The best ones will appear in our Countryside magazine. The winners will also get a free family ticket to London Zoo.
