SCIENCE CLUB Task 1: 1 What is your favorite color? It is red. 2. What is your first school? My first school is AMC primary. 3. What do you do in your free time? I read books. 4. What is your favorite sport? I am keen on football. 5. What did you do last night? I studied English. Task 2: When and where do you usually read books? I usually read books in the evening, curled up on the couch or in bed. Weekends are also a great time to dive into a good book, often at a cozy cafe or a quiet park. Person A: Do you prefer watching science programs or reading science books? I prefer reading science books because they offer a more in-depth understanding of topics and allow me to absorb information at my own pace. Watching science programs is enjoyable too, especially for visual demonstrations, but books give me a more comprehensive and detailed exploration. In line with the announcement, our club is preparing to organize the science exhibition next month. To be honest, I was elated when I received this news, as I have been waiting for it for a long time. From my perspective, it would be preferable if the club could promote the exhibition on social media so that people can easily find and join us. Besides, I would be grateful if we could hold the concert on Sunday, which will be the most appropriate and convenient day for both young and old people to attend. Last but not least, we could create multiple ticket types and seating combos to give attendees the ultimate flexibility of choosing what’s best for them.
