■ Depending on your audio setup, you may need to plug in some sort of headphones before & during running the swf games via the flash player (there is a known flash bug that prevents the game from loading certain flash components if your computer audio is disabled or blocked) ● Where do I find the most up to date version of each chapter? ○ All most recent downloads available for download are available in the Downloads > Public channel ● What is a .swf? I thought Flash Player was dead? Why do I need a flash player .exe? ○ Adobe stopped supporting Flash Player beginning December 31, 2020 (“End Of Life Date”) and blocked Flash content from running in Flash Player beginning January 12, 2021 ○ Adobe recommends users to uninstall flash from their devices ■ The flash player .exe (the one that is available for download link above) is only a standalone executable and does not install anything ● It only runs when you open it ● Adobe called these standalone flash player executables “projectors” ■ Adobe removed the download page for the latest flash player projectors, so the only available versions are on other sites ● The downloads public channel (link above) has the latest flashplayer_##_sa.exe from the Adobe before updates stopped ○ Important notes: ■ Even with a great computer, flash player performance can still not be perfect ■ Some high density areas in certain game chapters have been known to have lower than average framerate ● How does a save file/code/text work? ○ Lan does a great job of explaining them in game! Take your time and read carefully ○ At or after Chapter 2, you can save your progress mid chapter if you are outside of combat or a cutscene by going to the menu and clicking a button to generate a save text ■ You should save this text in a notepad or somewhere else on your device in a safe place ○ Later, you can copy + paste your save text into the “Load” or “Load text” page on the game chapter title screen ○ Save text stores all progress so you can pick up where you left off
