Suggested writing The formal school education system in Vietnam is divided into three levels. The first and foremost level is primary school starting from the age of six and lasting five years. The next level is lower secondary within four years, which is followed by three years at upper secondary school. Besides, It is compulsory to spend nine years for primary and lower secondary level. In Vietnam, an academic year will take each student thirty-five weeks, in other words, nine months between September and May. Each school year includes two terms.
