If you have issues in “Reading Comprehension” – understanding the central idea of the question or what the examiner is trying to ask, please spruce up this area. Improve this skill by referring to some Reading Comprehension questions on the Internet. Tip 3: The Long and Short of Questions The long questions are necessarily not the difficult questions. And the short questions are not the easy ones either. Take each question one at a time. Sometimes, the long questions are introduced to disturb the rhythm. And hence, the Tip #1 of practicing the rhythm and you do not lose your concentration. Sometimes, the long questions have the question at the end of the question. But do read the entire question. You do not want to miss anything from the question. Tip 4: Choose the BEST answer choice There are many questions whose answer choices may be all correct answers. So, it is mandatory that you go through all the answer choices and select the best answer choice. PMI always suggest to select the best answer choice. Tip 5: Do the Process of Elimination The best idea is to increase your probability of getting the right answer. When you have 4 answer choices, the probability is 25% of getting the correct answer. However, it is every easy to knock off 2 incorrect choices with even modicum of preparation and you increase your probability to 50% of getting the right answer. This approach will enhance your scoring rates significantly Tip 6: Read the questions CAREFULLY This is particularly true for lengthy questions, and you must read the questions carefully to spot the KEYWORDS which can lead to the correct answer. Some of the keywords which you should look out for: Most Likely Least Likely Best Not Except Sometimes when you are into the exam and spending 4 hours at a stretch, and too much of fatigue, you may skip such keywords and get some wrong answers.
