All rights reserved Route Determination Route determination: Route is determined automatically in the sales order and delivery by the system. The SAP System determines routes automatically for each sales document item. Transportation zone + Shipping zone + Transportation group + Shipping condition => Route 1. Transportation zone or Destination zone(country of the Ship-to Party): It is one of the key parameters while creation of a customer master data. It represents the country/location of ship to party. It is maintained in the general data view of the customer master 2. Departure zone: It represents the country of the Delivering plant/shipping point 3. Transportation group: It is maintained in the material master and it is used to group materials based in case same route need to be determined. It is maintained in sales: General/Plant view. 4. Shipping condition: It is maintained in the shipping tab under the sales area view of the customer master.
