Year 2 Maths – 2030b Term 4 2024 Week 7 Notes The unit of measurement for Mass (or weight) is grams and kilograms. Mass measures how heavy or light something is. Do you know your own mass? 1 kilogram is 1000x heavier than 1 gram • Grams (g) is used to measure a lighter mass such as a tray of eggs, a box of chocolate, a tin of tea or coffee.
