Module 1 Learning Objectives: The learners- • follow instructions and act accordingly. • engage in Origami. Materials: Pictures of various animals, colour paper pieces, Bluetooth speaker, QR code of ant making video. Time: 60 minutes Activity 1. Game- Move like a monkey Process Start the class with a song. Good morning good morning How are you today? I am fine, thank you Have a lovely day. Sing the song rhythmically. Let the children sing after you. As the second step, sing the first two lines and let the children sing the next answering lines. This song can be used to start the class every day. Put some pictures of animals in a basket (monkey, rabbit, frog, parrot, ant, etc. 4 or 5 each according to the class strength). Ask the learners stand in a circle. Teacher talk Dears...Shall we play a game? It is a nice game. You all will enjoy it. Are you ready?... Ready....? Look I have a box with me. What is inside the box? Can you say? (Let them guess. Respond to them) No. /No, they are not flowers. / Sorry, not fruits. / Pens...? No, not pens... Now look... what are they? Yes... pictures... Pictures of what? Fine. (Continue the process with each group to familiarise the movements.) Good. Now I will sing a song. You can move according to the lines. Ok? Monkey, monkeys, where are you?
