- 2 - 4. How to inform the student and their parents of the results obtained (1) It is necessary to complete the results sheet and provide it to the student and their parents. A meeting should be held with them to discuss the student’s progress. This analysis can help them understand how the progress was made and indicate the possible development in the upcoming months. Additionally, all the information gathered during the meeting will be useful for future guidance. (2) Instructions for filling out the test results sheet: (a) Write the student’s name, the date the test was taken, the number of correct answers, and the time spent in the corresponding spaces. (b) In the graph on the cover of the test, mark the intersection point of the lines representing the number of correct answers and the time spent, to determine which group the student is in. (If the point lies on the group separation line, it is considered to be above the line, and therefore in the upper group.) (c) On the back cover, mark the comment corresponding to the group the student belongs to in the appropriate field. (The first comment corresponds to Group 1; the second, to Groups 2 or 3; and the third, to Groups 3 or 4.)
- 3 - (d) On the cover and back cover, enter the correct information for each block in the corresponding tables and graphs. In the back cover graphs, mark the point representing the score for the corresponding block. This way, the student’s mastery level in each part of the level can be understood in depth. (e) The square at the bottom of the back cover is used to add comments for the student or the parents. 5. Analysis of the Test Results and Future Study Projections (1) Graph on the Test Cover Some students may take longer to complete the test and have a few incorrect answers. These students could potentially master the level by repeating the initial booklets of the next stage. However, others may complete the test more quickly but have more incorrect answers. It is important to observe the study habits of these students (e.g., error correction, careful writing of passages). (2) Score Table by Content When the student achieves more than 80% correct answers, it can be considered that they have mastered the corresponding content. However, if the student has few correct answers in a specific block but can improve by working on the next level, they should be allowed to advance, giving them the opportunity to practice more in the new level according to their needs. If these difficulties might affect progress in the next level, consideration should be given to assigning repetitions of that block. The decision to advance to the next level should not be based solely on the test result, but also on the student’s progress throughout the level. If there has been progress without significant difficulties during the level, repetitions should not be immediately assigned, even if the test results are not satisfactory. However, the student may benefit more by completing the review booklet at the beginning of the next level and then retaking the test.
