Examples of objects undergoing rotational motion Degrees and Radians To measure how much an object has rotated, we use angles. The most familiar unit is the degree, with a full circle equal to 360 degrees. When calculating rotational quantities, however, we often use radians, which are based on the geometry of the circle.
