Preface Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi has framed Education Regulation 2020 (ER 2020) for Diploma Course in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.) under Regulation-7. The Community Pharmacy Management is an important subject at Second Year of this Course. It gives me a great pleasure to present this book in the hand of readers. This book is strictly written according to PCI syllabus framed as per Regulation 7 under ER 2020. This book is first of its kind available for this course in the pharmacy academia in India that fulfiiis the set objectives and covers all the contents prescribed in the syllabus for the course. Through this book I have grabbed an opportunity and tried my level best to provide the D. Pharm. students and faculty readers with the ready syllabus contents altogether to make it simple and understandable. The sequence of syllabus content is designed unit wise imparting better understanding of the subject matter. ln this book wherever needed full forms and abbreviations, pictorial diagrams, tabular data, examples of formulations including marketed products and their manufacturers are given. This book has in all NINE Chapters; each begins with learning objectives for better understanding and ends with review questions for self evaluation. Each Chapter is covered in depth as per requirement taking into consideration the student's know how at Second Year of this course. Efforts have been taken to elaborate basic concepts of Community Pharmacy Management in most simple, lucid and technical language. If there are any corrections to any of the existing content in this book, readers are free to communicate to author and your efforts will be gratefully acknowledged.
