i ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my supervisor, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phuong Hoang Yen, for her unwavering and timely support throughout my research journey. Her guidance and insightful feedback have been invaluable to this process. I am equally thankful to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Trinh Quoc Lap, whose expertise in research methodology and data analysis significantly shaped this thesis. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to all the EFL lecturers and my peers: Mr. Tran Van Ngan, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tri, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Diem, Ms. Truong Thi Tu Huynh, and Ms. Tran Thanh Nguyet in the MA weekend classes (cohort 29). Their stimulating instructions and discussions have greatly inspired me and laid the foundation for my research experience throughout this academic journey. My heartfelt thanks go to the People’s Committee of Ca Mau Province for their financial support during my Master’s degree studies. I am also deeply grateful to my principal, Mr Pham Viet Hung and my colleagues at Dam Doi High School for their encouragement and continuous support, which enabled me to pursue this program. I extend my sincere gratitude to the high school teachers who generously participated in this study. Their willingness to share their time and insights through questionnaires and interviews provided the essential data that formed the foundation of this research. Without their assistance, this study would not have been possible. Lastly, and most importantly, I dedicate this accomplishment to my family. I am profoundly thankful to my parents, Ms. Nguyen Hong Ro and Mr. Dang Van Giang, who have dedicated their lives to caring for my daughters, allowing me the time and focus to pursue my research. My deepest gratitude also goes to my husband, Mr. Nguyen Cong Dinh, and my cherished daughters for their unconditional love, encouragement, and understanding throughout this demanding journey. Their unwavering support and sacrifices have made it possible for me to realize my academic aspirations. I am eternally grateful for their presence in my life.
