Apply certain grammatical structures at the pre-intermediate level (e.g. present perfect, modal verbs, relative clauses, etc.) into oral and written tasks. X X VOCABULARY 2. Use the pre-intermediate level vocabulary related to familiar topics (e.g. work, food, technology, health, etc.) into oral and written tasks. X X LISTENING 3. Identify main ideas and supporting details (e.g. listening for keywords) at the pre-intermediate level listening 2
texts (e.g. discussions, conversations). PRONUNCIATION + SPEAKING 4. Cite the pre-intermediate level vocabulary with correct phonological features (e.g., word stress, intonation, linking consonant-vowel). 5. Produce monologues and dialogues at the pre-intermediate level about real-life topics in the textbook. READING 6. Recognize main ideas and supporting details (e.g. skimming, scanning, sequencing, inferring) at the pre-intermediate level reading texts (e.g. articles, comics, letters). X WRITING 7. Construct pieces of writing (e.g. emails, letters, paragraphs) with appropriate formats and language use at the pre-intermediate level. X GENERIC SKILLS 8. Develop students’ collaboration skills.
