CV Vetting Manual | 2025-26 2 The Placement Cell, SRCC INTRODUCTION The Placement Season 2024-25 was a resounding success with 116+ companies visiting our campus, including McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Kepler Cannon, Nomura, and Blackstone, among several others. A total of 515+ Offers, a Gross Value of INR 51.3 Cr., and the Highest Package of INR 36 LPA were recorded, exemplifying the success of the Placement Season 2024-25. The Placement Cell always strives to ensure the smooth functioning of the recruitment drive and shall endeavour to do the same for the years to come. In order to ensure the credibility of the details mentioned in the CVs of students, The Placement Cell, SRCC, introduced the process of CV Vetting in the Recruitment Season 2017-18. The CV Vetting Manual 2025-26 has been orchestrated to help students understand the CV Vetting process. The Manual shall be binding on all students interested in registering with The Placement Cell. Kindly note that the CV Vetting process shall be the only way for a student to register with the Cell. GENERAL GUIDELINES Compulsory Vetting Cycle: A Compulsory Cycle is generally conducted after the declaration of semester examination results. Getting CVs vetted during this cycle is mandatory for the students in order to continue their registration with the Cell. The student who fails to get their CV vetted during Compulsory Cycles would not be eligible to apply to the companies through The Placement Cell, and this would result in their automatic deregistration from the Cell. The first Vetting Cycle is a Compulsory Cycle, and the students are required to get their CVs vetted in order to register with The Placement Cell. Optional Vetting Cycle: If a student wishes to get an updated CV vetted in between two Compulsory Vetting Cycles, the same can be done in an Optional Vetting Cycle. Registration in this cycle shall be voluntary and up to the discretion of the students. Mid-Vetting: Additionally, in case of conclusion of a Position of Responsibility/Internship/Live Project/Professional Course between two Vetting Cycles, students are required to follow the given procedure if they wish to get their CVs updated: 1. Registration for Mid-Vetting: A Form shall be circulated by The Placement Cell periodically, during the season. The opening of forms shall be intimated to the students via mail and/or by any medium deemed fit by The Placement Cell. If a student wishes to avail the provisions of Mid-Vetting to get their CVs updated at a later stage, they must compulsorily fill out the form during the time for which the form is open. 2. Availment of Mid-Vetting: Only those students who had filled the form for Mid-Vetting registration, as mentioned above, shall be eligible to avail the provision for CV updation by mailing The Placement Cell at [email protected], and furnishing sufficient proof for the particular update which could not be presented during the previous Vetting Cycle. The student may get an updated CV vetted through Mid-Vetting for the following cases:
