Senior Quality Assurance Engineer We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our QA team. The Senior QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by developing and executing comprehensive test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: ● Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications. ● Lead the QA efforts for assigned projects, ensuring that all features and functionalities are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards. ● Perform both manual and automated testing to identify, document, and track defects. ● Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. ● Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality. ● Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and work with developers to resolve issues ● Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical leadership and expertise. ● Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies, incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies. ● Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks. ● Report on QA activities, test results, and quality metrics to QA manager and project stakeholders. Requirements: ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ● 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. ● Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. ● Experience with both manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar. ● Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for database testing. ● Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation. ● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. ● Strong communication and collaboration abilities. ● Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. ● Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA are a plus. ● Fluent communication in English is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience in the technology or software development industry. ● Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools. ● Experience with performance and security testing. ● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. ● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
