Recruitment, Selection, and Compensation A.1 Recruitment System A.1.1 The System of Recruiting Faculty (Describe the system of recruitment and selection of the most qualified faculty, which includes, but not limited to the criteria for selection and the composition of the selection committee.) System of Recruiting Faculty The recruitment process of the faculty has four (4) stages: (1) Publication of vacancies, (2) Application, (3) Assessment of Tools and Methods, (4) Assessment Forms. A. ON PUBLICATION OF VACANCIES 1. Vacant positions in the university shall be published and posted in at least three (3) conspicuous places in the university and may be sent to
other educational institutions to inform other interested people. Other appropriate modes of publications shall be considered. 2. Dissemination of vacancies may also be made through the university website, university bulletin boards, flag raising ceremony announcements, university radio station, and other modes deemed appropriate and responsive. 3. Announcement for job openings shall contain the statement “All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, sex, sexual orientation and gender identity, civil status, disability, religion, ethnicity, or political affiliation;” and a Privacy Note statement “All the personal information contained in PD CS Form 212 and other related documents and information shall be used solely for documentation and processing purposes within Bukidnon State University and shall not be shared by Bukidnon State University within a time period in accordance with the National Archives of the Philippines.” 4. Anticipated vacancies may be published in case of retirement, resignation, or transfer. The publication should not be earlier than 30days prior to retirement, resignation or transfer. B. APPLICATION 1. Applicant must meet the QS prescribed for the rank. 2. All applicants (internal or external) shall signify their interest in writing for inclusion in the assessment. 3. Applicants must submit their latest Performance Rating for the most recent rating period. In instances when the performance reports for the last rating period are not yet available, the previous performance ratings for the previous semester shall be used. 4. Personal Data Sheet (PDS) (2017 CS Form No. 212 and 2017 CS Form No. 212 Attachment or the Work Experience Sheet) must be properly and completely accomplished. 5. Application documents must be submitted on or before the deadline of the publication vacancy. Applications sent via email should be in PDF format.
