Focus: This week’s vocabulary sheet Ask the children what Nationality they are. Discuss what Nationality means. (Nationality means belonging to a particular nation by having been born there or by becoming a citizen.) Go through different countries with the class and what nationality they would be. For example, If I am from Poland what nationality am I? Polish. Instruct students to complete this worksheet in class or after class, depending on whether it can be accommodated into the class schedule. Focus: Quick Writes Set a timer for 40 seconds (recommended) or choose a time you wish to spend on each Quick Write activity. Time should not exceed 2 minutes per topic.
