MARKETERS COMPETITION ENTRY FORM Competition Overview Teams of 2 will be asked to create a product/service that answers the brief given by the Competition Partner. Competitors will be representing the organisation they currently work for, and they must create a product/service that is relevant to their industry. Timeline Briefing Deadline Winners Announcement Debrief Sessions WEDNESDAY 1 JUNE 13:00 CEST ZOOM THURSDAY 2 JUNE 14:00 CEST YL ENTRY SYSTEM WEDNESDAY 15 JUNE 13:00 CEST ZOOM THURSDAY 7 JUNE TIMINGS TBC ZOOM Rules Any images, music and/or film in the Entry must either be: (a) created by the entrant; or (b) must not contain any third party content without permission of the owner of the rights in the content for the Competition Purposes. Cannes Lions and the Competition Partners shall be entitled to use this entry in accordance with the Rules. By submitting your entry, you accept and acknowledge that the Young Lions Competitions Terms of Entry shall apply to your work. Tools Each competitor must sign in to the Young Lions Competitions Slack workspace. This will be used to share announcements, essential information, resources, and to stay connected! Teams will need Zoom to attend the Competition's meetings. A recommended list of imagery, music and video resources can be found here. Please note that when using license-free content, you must ensure that you have read and understood its specific usage rights. We may ask you to provide a list of the content used in your submission. Presentations FRIDAY 3 JUNE TIMINGS TBC ZOOM
Each team will be submitting a presentation showcasing their product/service. This must include: Deliverables One slide that visually summarises your idea. This slide must also be included in your deck and will count towards the 10 slides. A PDF presentation of no more than 10 slides describing your product/service A two-part written submission Idea and insight - This includes your market research and data gathering (150 words) Strategy - Target audience, planning and approach (150 words) Ready to Submit? Your entry must be uploaded on the Young Lions Competitions entry system before Thursday 2 June 14:00 CEST. The PDF presentation and Summary Slide must be saved in .pdf file format and there will be three text boxes for the written submission. You will need to log in using your Cannes Lions account. If you do not have a Cannes Lions account, please create one. Only one submission per team is needed. You may edit your entry at any point before submitting. If you are experiencing any issues or have any questions when submitting your work, please contact us through the #marketers Slack channel. You will need to complete both Register and Entry sections. The Competition entry code is Marketers2022 In the Entry Title box, please enter your country/location. Once all the details have been entered, you will be asked to submit your entry and the Status will change to Completed. Winners Announcement Debrief Sessions All teams will be invited to attend an exclusive Young Lions session during which the winning work will be presented. All teams will be offered the opportunity to attend a one-on-one debrief session with members of the Jury to discuss their work. WEDNESDAY 15 JUNE 13:00 CEST ZOOM THURSDAY 7 JULY TIMINGS TBC ZOOM Presentations All teams will present their campaign to the Jury. Each presentation must be no more than 5 minutes, followed by a 5 minute Q&A led by our Jury Members. This presentation must match the one you submitted. FRIDAY 3 JUNE TIMINGS TBC ZOOM
