OBJECTIVES: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - Review how to use the phrase verbs 2. Personal qualities: - Apply the knowledge you just reviewed to complete the various types of exercises - Develop self-study skills B. MATERIALS: - Grade 9 textbook, English workbooks and reference books for grade 9. - Computer connected to the Internet - Projector/ TV/ Handout - hoclieu.vn C. PROCEDURE: Teacher’s activities Ss’ activities I. Practice (22 ms) - Aim: to help SS remember the meaning of the phrasal verbs they’ve learnt - Hand out exercises to students. Ex 1,2,3,4 - Ask Ss to do exercises on handouts individually and groups. - Divide the class into 3 groups and ask them to do exercises. - Call some Ss to discuss their answers then one by one write their answers on the board - Get the other Ss to comment and give correct answers. - Recognize right answers then give marks for each group. - Do exercises individually and groups - Discuss their answers in groups - Perform the answers on the board. - Correct and write the right answers. IV. Consolidation (3 ms) - Ex 5: Listen to the song and fill Phrasal verbs in the blanks. - Ask ss to listen to the song and fill phrasal verbs in the blanks. - Handout V.
