She had always been one of the most intelligent people in school but lacked the desire to keep up her relationships with others and most importantly, herself. Admittedly, she had little to no relationships to speak of, but her lack of self-respect or care for societal expectations led to her being the victim of bullying throughout her life. It was only during her first year of high school that she stopped going entirely. Feeling that they had completely failed their daughter, Hye-rin's parents let her rot away in her room for the next few years. During this time, Hye-rin found solace in online chatrooms. One particular chatroom was formed with the goal of "exposing" the hidden truths of the world. This ranged from corporate conspiracies to extraterrestrial cover-ups. While at first it seemed absurd, some things just did make sense. And so Hye-rin stayed, partially out of morbid curiosity and also the desire to be surrounded by a community. One conspiracy that was going around was Asteria Entertainment's long-lasting reign over the music industry.
