Besides, to encourage polite behavior, we could put up signs in important areas, asking tourists to respect local customs and the environment. The signs should be simple, friendly, and easy to understand, maybe with translations for visitors from other countries. This way, we can avoid conflicts or misunderstandings with the locals.
