41 - 45 1. [Woman] I don’t usually like going into dark places. I hate traveling on underground trains, for example, or going down into the basement of a house. But this place was so spectacular that I didn’t find it scary at all, and it wasn’t dark. There were lights everywhere so that you could see the beautiful rock formations. 2. [Man] He’s a very important person in the national park. There are no police stations closer than 100 miles, so he is the only one who can stop hunters from killing the wildlife. He has a gun, but he has never used it. When he sees a hunter, the person usually just gets in his car and drives away. 3. [Woman] There is so much water! It’s everywhere. It came into the town in a huge rush when the river got much higher than its banks. It spoilt everything in my house. We had flooding before, but this is much worse than ever. 4. [Man] It’s a very special place. I go there every weekend, and I always find a little piece of nature to take home and put on my shelves. You have to look closely for really interesting shells between the rocks on the beach, but then, suddenly, you see one, shining like a piece of jewelry. 5. [Woman] I’d love to go and see the Northern Lights one day, because people say that they are spectacular. And I’m sure that the views from the top of a mountain are very scenic. But I’m a swimmer, so the first natural wonder that I visited was the Great Barrier Reef. ---THE END---
