Application of fevicol on all cut edge of shuttering ply makes a water tight bond on the cut face and increases repetition. WORK METHODOLOGY FOR FOUNDATION: The grid lines shall be marked on the PCC under foundation. Formwork for concrete shall be rigidly constructed & fixed with adequate supports as per the required dimension of the footings. Use MS plate or ply, waler clamp, MS pipe, side supporting pipe with jack or wooden support and coupler clamp for proper support as shown: Note:- waler clamp to be used for fixing waler with M.S Shuttering plate to make straight alignment of raft shuttering.
Note: - 1. For raft shuttering, use waler and couplers. 2. Use Nut and Bolt for proper joint of M.S. Shuttering plate. The top level of the concrete shall be marked on the formwork. Shuttering shall be removed carefully after 12 hours of concreting in such a manner as not to cause any damage to concrete. FOR PLINTH BEAMS: The centerline or face line of the plinth beam shall be marked on the PCC. Formwork shall be fixed in proper line, grid and dimensions. The proper support shall be done with props and struts. Deep beams (over 600 mm depth) should be tied with Ghughu. FOR COLUMN/SHEAR WALL Starter (MS Angle) shall be fixed for column with respect to the centerline/gridlines. Ties for column form work should be fixed as shown:
3” x 2” vertical batten to be used in shuttering of column with 2” face to be in contact with ply. 4x3” batten is to be used on outer edge of formwork. 4” X4” Battens or ISMC 100 to be used for horizontal support. Position the shuttering of column to match with the starter. 140 mm 450 mm 300 mm 150 mm 350 mm 550 mm 100 mm 100 mm 100 mm 4” Battern 2440 mm 100 mm Minimum pressure Maximum pressure 3”x2” Battern
