Download and Installation of Client What is a Client? FireFlink client is a small software that must be installed in the client machine before starting the automation with FireFlink. It includes the FireFlink Finder tool that helps capture UI elements of various applications such as Web, Android, iOS, Salesforce, and MS Dynamics. The client also has other functionalities embedded for UI/UX testing which are mainly required for script execution. Why Client is required? We require clients primarily for two reasons. ● A client is necessary for executing the script. ● A client is needed to capture the elements. How to Download Client? We can download the Client in three Levels ● All Project Level ● Individual Project Level ● Test Development How to install Client? The FireFlink client is Platform Specific software that is available for 3 different platforms 1. Windows 2. Mac 3. Linux Steps to Download and Install the FireFlink Client 1, All Project Level:- Navigate to the Configuration section mouse over on Run Configuration and select Environment Configuration.
Click on the Download Client Button. Select your OS based on your system to download the client Click on the Download Button
One executable file, named FireFlink client, will be downloaded to our local machine. Install it by granting all permissions and clicking on the 'Install' button." Individual Project Level There are two ways we can download the client in the Individual Project Level a. In the Test Development Section b. In Configuration Section In the Test Development Section Navigate to the Test Development section click on the “more” icon and then click Download Client.
