When is the best time to book? The sooner, the better! Our dates tend to get snatched up pretty quickly, and they're reserved for bookings that have locked in with the booking fee. What if my event is in a few days? If your event is just around the corner, within the next 5 days, we've got an express option for you. There will be a 10% fee added to cover the slightly higher costs we might incur for produce and speedy delivery. Where are you based? Our HQ is in Hackney E5. If you're a bit farther out, we'll add £20 for every 5 miles to ensure we can still reach you. Depending on the package, van delivery starts at £250. Do I need to pay a deposit? Yes, there’s a non-refundable booking fee of 20% to lock in your booking. There is a damage deposit, where a payment is made to cover potential damages, missing displays or breakages, by guests. This type of deposit is 100% refundable once we’ve completed our checks (refund issued within 10 working days post-event). How much is the damage deposit? For bookings under £1000, the refundable deposit is £150. If your booking goes over £1000, it's £200. When is the balance payment deadline? We'll need the balance settled 10 working days before the big event. Don't fret; we'll send you friendly reminders and confirm the exact date to keep you in the loop. What is a cultural plate? Cultural plates are like the fun-sized cousins of our traditional dishes. They're served up in these cute pot-size cups, making them perfect for events where everyone's mingling and having a blast together. It keeps things informal and lively, a fantastic alternative to the traditional sit-down dinner. What is a palate cleanser? Think of a palate cleanser as a "refresh button" for your taste buds during a fancy meal. It's like a mini-snack that swoops in between courses to clear away any lingering flavours from the previous dish. Are you fully insured and a registered caterer? Yes, we are fully insured. We also have current food hygiene and health & and safety training requirements. We pride ourselves on having the best standards, ensuring the best produce and food handling.
