TRAVEL CLUB Part 2: Why are you interested in travel? I’m into traveling as I love going out to explore the wonders of the world, make new friends and expand my horizons. Part 3: 1.Tell me a time you had a trip in bad weather. I traveled to Dalat with my family last summer. However, it was the rainy season at that time, so it rained cats and dogs throughout our trip. We had to stay at our hotel most of the time and couldn’t visit anywhere. 2.Traveling a long distance by some means of transportation is not good for the environment? Do you agree? I see eye to eye with the statement, using several means of transportation to travel a long distance will release lots of carbon dioxide that causes air pollution. Not to mention that people can throw trash out on their way which pollutes the environment. 3.What are the most interesting places to visit in your country? My country has various picturesque places, but I suggest you visit HaLong Bay. Ha Long Bay was recognized as one of seven wonders of the world by UNESCO because of its natural and poetic scenery. 4.What is the most exciting journey you’ve been on? The most thrilling trip I've ever taken was a 4-day, 3-night trip to Vung Tau. Despite the short amount of time, I was still able to explore the most scenic places and enjoy the scrumptious local cuisine. 5.Can you remember the first time you went on a journey by yourself? What was it like?
It was a gorgeous day with light wind and warm sunlight. I was so excited to have that trip around my village with my bicycle. Everything was peaceful and mesmerizing that I could never forget. Part 4: “Dear members, Our club is planning to encourage tourist to visit a area. We also want visitors coming to our areas to behave politely. Please raise your voice and give some suggestions for this plan.” 1. Write to your friend and share your suggestions. Dear Sam, Have you heard the news that our club is preparing to motivate tourists to visit our areas. I’m over the moon when I read it. I think the club should advertise the destination on social media so people can follow and attend. Besides, they can also make a list of rules of polite behavior for visitors to the area. What do you think? Love, Hoa. 2. Write to the president of the club and give your suggestions. Dear president, My name is Nguyen Hoang Hoa and I have been a club member since 2020. I am writing this email to express my opinion about the notification that I have received from our club. According to the announcement, our club is arranging to promote visitors to visit the area. I was so excited when I heard it as I have been waiting for this event for months. From my perspective, it would be better if our club could advertise about the destination on our club’s website so that people can follow and participate. In the advertisement, we can introduce special features of that area, such as beautiful sceneries, historical places or mouth-watering local dishes in order to make tourists more excited about the trip. Regarding visitor behavior, I would be grateful if our club could make a list of polite behavior rules and instruct it to everyone before the trip. Therefore, people will be aware of what to do and what to avoid in order to be elegant.
