The dry season from December to April is the best time to visit the park. We chose cycling as the means to travel during our trip. First, we visited the Primate Rescue Centre, where many of the rarest primates were found in Cuc Phuong. They also researched the living behaviour, their environment and living space. Currently, Cuc Phuong Primate Rescue Centre raises nearly 160 individuals of 15 rare primate species. After that, the centre will release them back to nature. Cuc Phuong National Park has a rich system of plants, and one of the most outstanding trees is the thousand-year Cho tree. It is 45 metres in height and 5 metres in diameter with the floating roots on the ground running about 20 metres long. After that, we visited some well-known caves, such as Nguoi Xua Cave and Con Moong Cave. Nguoi Xua Cave is believed to be inhabited by prehistoric humans as a residence and burial reliC. Inside the cave there are some remnants of prehistoric times. Con Moong Cave is a rock cave. Located near rivers and streams, the area has rich and diverse fauna and flora, so ancient people chose it as a long-term residence. The cave is wide and long, with two connecting doors, and it has a very complex structure. At the end of the trip, we hiked the Silver Cloud Peak (Dinh May Bac) with an altitude of 648 metres. We could see a panoramic view of the national park, Hoa Lu Citadel, Bai Dinh Pagoda from the top of the mountain. However, the way to the top of May Bac has many rocky slopes, so this place is only suitable for people with good health. Then, we cycled back to the Visitor Centre and went back to our hometown by coach.
