ADDITION OF VECTORS
ADDITION OF VECTORS
Scalar Ex:- mass, length, temperature A quantity that has only magnitude (a non negative real number) is called a scalar. Vector Ex: velocity,accelaration,force..etc. A physical quantity which has both magnitude and direction is called a vector.
SPACE VECTOR If a1,a2,a3 are three real numbers, then the ordered triad (a1,a2,a3) is called a space vector. The real numbers a1,a2,a3 are called first, second and third components of the space vector.
