Component Implement ing Agencies Financial Assistance Eligible Beneficiaries Financial assistance to farmers for procurement of farm machinery and equipments on individual ownership basis State Govt. /UTs i) Financial assistance @ 50% of the cost of machine for small and marginal farmers, farmers of the SC, ST category, women farmers, farmers of North Eastern States and Himalayan regions. ii) Financial assistance @ 40% of the cost of machine for all other farmers iii) The machine-wise maximum permissible assistance is indicated in Table-2 Farmers Current Affairs Part-4
