1 KSFE has decided to modify the existing methods and policies on valuation of property /assets offered as security for various schemes. In connection with this applications are invited from qualified valuers who are interested to work with KSFE. The applications shall be submitted to the Assistant General Managers of the respective Regional Offices only. The printout of the online application duly signed shall be submitted to the opted region/s along with the hard copy of the main application and supporting documents on or before 05-07-2025. The age,educational qualifications and work experience required for applicants are given below. Age - Minimum/ Maximum Age requirement The minimum age for empanelment with us shall be 25 years and maximum age limit for a valuer to remain on the panel shall be 65 years. Qualifications I. Valuation of Land & Building / Real Estate The educational qualifications for empanelment as valuers of Land & Building / Real Estate/Flats shall be as under: Sl. No. Graduate level Experience in specific discipline 1 Graduate in Civil Engineering, Architecture or town planning of a recognized University established under State or Central Act, AMIE or equivalent whether in India or Abroad 3 years work experience in the field of valuation of land & building/ real estate after completion of the degree or equivalent. Or (i) Registered with IBBI. (ii) A member of any organization registered as RVO with IBBI. 2 Graduate from a recognized university established under State or Central Act or equivalent He must be a person who has formerly employed in a post under the Government of Kerala, holding the position of Deputy Collector,Tahsildar, Deputy Tahsildar, Settlement Officer, or equivalent in any one Three years of experience in the field of valuation of real estate. (Not applicable for existing KSFE Valuers).
2 position or in combination of the above positions with a minimum eight years of experience. 3 Graduate in Civil engineering Architecture or Town planning of a recognized University established under State or Central Act or AMIE or equivalent He must be a person formerly employed in a post under the Government of Kerala as Executive Engineer, Assistant Engineer or equivalent not below the rank of Assistant Engineer. 2 years of experience in the filed of valuation of real estate / land and building. II. Valuation of Agricultural Land There are no courses available in our country to qualify as a valuer of agricultural land. Valuer of agricultural land ought to have knowledge of following principles of valuation . Cost, price, value and worth . Various types of value . Value elements - ingredients - characteristics . Annuities - capitalization - rate of capitalization - redemption of capital Experience Experience shall be calculated from the date of 1st empanelment with any bank/financial institutions in the format included in application form. Eligibility criteria applicable for valuers mentioned in Sl. No.1.1 (a) A Person shall be eligible to be empanelled as a valuer if he i Is a member in good standing of any one of the valuer Associations viz. Institute of valuers (IOV), institution of Estate Managers & Appraisers (IESMA), Practicing valuers Association (India) (PVAI), The Indian Institute of valuers (IIV), Centre For Valuation Studies, Research and training Association (CVSRTA), Council of Engineers and valuers, Divya Jyoti Foundation. or Any other valuer association registered as RVO with IBBI. 1.2 Remuneration Valuation fee (Amount in Rs.) Fee Value up to Rs. 2 crore Rs.1,000.00 Value above Rs. 2 crore Rs.1,500.00
