discord.gg/vc Review Code of Conduct: ● Power abuse ○ Don't join full voice chats unless there's a report or all members agree ○ There should be no special treatment for any members ○ Avoid baiting someone just to punish them ○ Etc. ● Professionalism ○ Be respectful towards members ○ Conduct investigations in good faith ● Leaking ○ Do not share content from staff channels ○ Do not share a user's punishment history with other users. ○ Do not disclose the identity of the user who made a report ○ Do not disclose which staff member issued a punishment to a member Moderation Actions: ● Verbalizing ○ Directly address the offender ○ Log verbals like this: [ user ID ] [ mention ] [ punishment ] ○ Verbals last for 24 hours- you can give multiple verbals, use common sense ○ Review #punishment-info to see which punishment requires verbals ○ Punishing ○ Helpers can punish for: Language, Spam, Channel Misuse and Ear Rape ○ If you make an error with a punishment, simply request its revocation ○ Try using the '-punish' and '-history' commands ● Requesting ○ Use #requests for things you can’t punish for ○ Request like this: [ user ID ] [ mention ] [ punishment ] ○ If you have NSFW/Graphic proof, do not post it in #requests (DM for proof) ○ -silence [ user ID ] [ time ] [ reason ] if your request is major or isn’t being handled — mention in your request if you have silenced the person ○ Explain the difference between silence and punishing (-history) ○ Higher-ups will react to your request to confirm they've handled it.
