We are frontliners first, educators second. Our team of instructors is comprised of active emergency and critical care specialists who practice what they teach, and teach what they practice. Resuscitation can be very challenging during these times and guidelines cannot fully account for the different scenarios one will encounter in the clinical setting. It is a must to learn CPR from mentors who not only know the protocols on paper but more importantly, have on-the-field knowledge. These are the kind of instructors we are proud to have at AES! Our clinical educators live by a simple creed --- resuscitation is our calling; education, our passion. Resuscitation is our calling; education, our passion.

The AHA adopts an open book policy during exams. Renewal students are expected to have their own ebooks before, during, and after the course. The student understands that they have to read the ebooks thoroughly before they take these courses. AES will email the ebook access codes for each course. Should the student not receive these codes or have problems accessing the ebooks, it is the student’s responsibility to immediately contact the Academy of Emergency Sciences at [email protected], 0920-900-4515, or Facebook messenger at https://m.me/aesciencesmanila and resolve these issues at least three (3) days BEFORE the date of their training. Ebook concerns will NOT be addressed ON THE DAY OF TRAINING. Validity of Cards. The Academy of Emergency Sciences is an authorized training center of the AHA. We issue official AHA IDs and certificates that are valid for 2 years. Passing Requirements. The student must score 84% or higher in the written exam (≥21 out of 25 items for BLS and ≥42 out of 50 items for ACLS/PALS) and pass the practical exam. Upon passing these exams, the student will be issued official AHA IDs and certificates on the same day. Examinations and Failure. If a student fails the written or practical exam, any payments or reservation fees paid will be forfeited. Students who fail will pay the course fee again should they wish to re-enroll. Rescheduling, Cancellation, and Absence. All reservations are considered final. If a student wishes to cancel or reschedule their course or is absent, their reservation fee will be forfeited and will not be refunded. An additional rebooking fee of Php 1000 will be charged for BLS and Php 2500 for ACLS and PALS on top of any remaining balance. Reservation fees cannot be used for the rebooking fee. Students with valid medical emergencies will be allowed to reschedule without a rebooking fee provided they furnish a medical certificate. In case a class does not push through for reasons beyond our control (acts of God, low enrollment, etc), AES will either reschedule your class or provide a full refund of the reservation fee less ebook costs. Registration Information. The student swears that the information submitted in their registration form is accurate. Consequences that may arise from entering the wrong information will be entirely their responsibility. Choose the RIGHT Precourse for ACLS and PALS Precourse Certificate Requirement. The student understands that the Precourse Certificate is a requirement before taking the ACLS or PALS course. In order to obtain the Precourse Certificate, the student has to complete the Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work, International Version English (IVE) course. A sample of the Precourse Certificate can be seen here. The Precourse Evaluation Score is NOT EQUIVALENT to the Precourse Certificate. Failure to present a Precourse Certificate on the day of training would disqualify the student from taking the course. In such a case, any payments or reservation fees paid will be forfeited. The student will have to pay the course fee again should they wish to re-enroll. Resuscitation is our calling; education, our passion.
