Overall, the airport’s boundary will be expanded with a larger number of boarding gates and more facilities for new types of services such as bag drop, car rental, cafe and ATM. Next year, the number of gates in the boarding area is planned to increase from eight to eighteen, while the walkway in this area will be upgraded into a more advanced sky train to improve transportation. Guests will also be able to visit the new shops in the west side of the waiting area beyond security and passport control before boarding. The perimeter of the arrival section will be expanded in the South-East corner to accommodate a car for hire service, while a cafe and an ATM for cash withdrawal are planned in the East side as well. In the departures, guests will have access to a bag drop facility in place of the original check-in and a new cafe will be available in the lower left corner after renovation.
