Indications of Source (IOS) Designate a country/ place from where goods originate Can even be a sign or symbol Not necessary that the goods have a character, quality or reputation linked to the place Examples “Made in Vietnam”, “Made in Bangladesh” “Made in Japan” IOS, but can it indicate a certain quality?
