Unit – V Harmony Chapter -1 Little Drops of Water Total Number of Periods – 20 Gist of the Lesson Teaching-Learning Outcome Teaching-Learning Planned Activity Subject Competencies Suggested Activity for Evaluation/Assessment Harmony Through Small Elements: Understand the concept of harmony and how small things contribute to a bigger whole.  Students will recite the poem and discourse how small elements like drops of water, grains of sand, words of love, and acts of kindness contribute to larger wholes like oceans, pleasant land, smiles, and happiness. 1. Read the poem aloud, emphasizing the repetition of "little”. 2. Discuss the meaning of harmony and how small things can come together to create something beautiful or positive. 3. Ask students to identify other examples in nature, life, or art where small elements create harmony or a bigger picture.  Speaking: Analyzes and discusses the role of small elements in creating harmony.  Critical thinking: Identifies patterns, makes connections, and draws conclusions.  Observe students' participation in discussions and their ability to identify and explain examples of harmony created by small things.  Organize a class project where students create collages or murals representing different concepts of harmony using small elements like drawings, pictures, or words. Appreciation for Water: Understand the importance and diverse uses of water.  Students will discuss the various uses of water mentioned in the poem and explore 4. Revisit the line "We all use water for many things" and brainstorm different ways we use water in our daily lives (drinking, cooking, cleaning, etc.).  Speaking: Shares and discusses different uses of water and its importance.  Observe students' engagement in discussions, activities.
