Your Role in the Scenario: You’ve been hired as Nathan’s Virtual Assistant to support him in managing internal operations, franchisee coordination, and everyday business tasks. Your work will help him step out of day-to-day responsibilities and focus on growth and expansion goals—his target is to grow to 100 gyms by 2035. Tools Used: The HUB is a Google Workspace company. All exercises will require the use of tools like: ● Gmail ● Google Calendar ● Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms ● Google Drive You’ll complete and submit your work using these tools. DISCLAIMER This will take time. The skills assessment is designed to be comprehensive. Most candidates take several days to complete it, especially if balancing other responsibilities. There’s no need to rush—focus on doing your best work. We’re evaluating more than just task completion—we’re looking for how you manage information, think critically, communicate clearly, and organize your work. You’ll be working through a series of exercises that simulate real-world tasks, and each one is designed to help us understand your strengths across multiple areas.
HOW TO APPROACH THIS Follow these steps to stay organized and do your best work: 1. Evaluate the Workload Before You Begin ● Take a few minutes to read through all the exercises so you understand the scope of the work. ● Some tasks will require creative thinking, others will require structure and precision. ● Prioritize the exercises that allow you to showcase your best skills, but make sure to complete everything. 2. Set Up a Google Account ● You’ll need a Google account to complete and submit your work. ● If you don’t have one, here is a video walkthrough that shows you exactly how to create a free Google account. 3. Organize and Submit Using Google Drive ● You'll be submitting your work through a shared Google Drive folder. ● We've recorded this short tutorial on how to create your folder and organize your submissions. ● Keep your files clean and well-labeled. You want your work to be easy to understand and navigate. 4. Use the Branding Resources Provided ● As part of this assessment, you’ll receive access to The HUB’s branding folder. ● It includes logos and branding guidelines to help you create materials that feel consistent with the company’s identity. ● You are welcome to take creative liberties where appropriate, but please respect the general direction outlined in the guidelines. 5. Be Resourceful and Think Critically ● Just like in real life, not every task comes with perfect instructions. ● If something is unclear, do your best to figure it out. Use your judgment, look for examples, and stay focused on delivering a complete, functional result. ● This is part of the assessment—we want to see how you handle ambiguity and take initiative when needed. 6.
